sand dune beach. When you're ready for more holiday
excitement head over to Cavendish PEI to see Anne
of Green Gables House, amusement parks, family
attractions and more.
"Niffter's
Nook" is our cozy 5 year old, carriage
style, vacation cottage. It's fully furnished
with 3 bedrooms and sleeps 8 comfortably. It has
a brand new attached enclosed sun deck off the
kitchen, a new patio deck along entire front of
the cottage, a fully equipped kitchen with utensils
and an extra outside hot & cold shower.

Kitchen 10 X 11, equipped with
fridge, electric stove, microwave, propane BBQ
(outside), dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, toaster,
coffee maker, ice-cold natural healthy clean and
clear drinking water from the taps. (Water source
tested by Department of Fisheries Agriculture
and Environment P.E.I.)
Dinning and living room combined,
15.2 X 25 ft. Dinning room table and chairs, two
double futons in living room for extra sleeping
space. Interior walls are knotty pine.
Bathroom, tub and shower. Also
equipped with an outside shower for showering
sand off your feet upon your return from the beach.
Three bedrooms with fresh linen
and towels supplied. Master bedroom first level,
8 X 13 - queen bed, plus dresser and small closet.
Two bedrooms upstairs 12 X 12
with skylight windows, one is loft bedroom, three
single beds in one and one single and one double
in the other. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Maid service
every 7 days.
Cottage with new enclosed sun deck & patio
deck!
The cottage is
inspected and the water quality tested every year.
This is both regulated and administered under
the high tourism standards set by the PEI provincial
government.

Summer on PEI is very pleasant,
hot but rarely humid. Daytime temperatures in
July & Aug. are usually in the mid-twenties
°C (70°F) but can go as high as 32°C
(90°F). The summer days on PEI are long and
glorious. Autumn is clear and bright. September
afternoons can be quite warm, but evenings are
cooler. Temperatures range from 8 to 22°C
(46 to 70°F). Spring is comfortable but often
arrives late. May and early June temperatures
range from 8 to 22°C (46 to 71°F).

By Air:
From -Yyg- Charlottetown Airport. Turn left when
exiting airport and follow highway 2 east towards
Mt. Stewart. Continue east past Crowbush/Lakeside
for approximately 7 km (2.5 kms after "Bristol"
road sign) to St. Peters Harbour Rd. Turn left
and continue down St. Peter's Harbour Rd to the
very end (if you reach Morell you have gone past
the St. Peters Harbour rd sign by 2 km). This
is paved road for the first few km but turns into
a dirt road just before the cottage subdivision.
Take the 3rd lane on the left to number 15 Red
Fox Lane.
From Charlottetown:
Take highway 2 east
towards Mt. Stewart. Continue east past Crowbush/Lakeside
for approximately 7 km (2.5 kms after "Bristol"
road sign) to St. Peters Harbour Rd. Turn left
and continue down St. Peter's Harbour Rd to the
very end (if you reach Morell you have gone past
the St. Peters Harbour rd sign by 2 km). This

By Car:
The Confederation Bridge spans the Northumberland
Strait between Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
The 12.9-km (9 mile) bridge is one of the longest
continuous marine span bridges in the world. From
Borden take (Route #1) to Charlottetown. Take
highway 2 east towards
Mt. Stewart. Continue east past Crowbush/Lakeside
for approximately 7 km (2.5 kms after "Bristol"
road sign) to St. Peters Harbour Rd. Turn left
and continue down St. Peter's Harbour Rd to the
very end (if you reach Morell you have gone past
the St. Peters Harbour rd sign by 2 km). This
is paved road for 4.2 km but turns into a dirt
road just before the cottage subdivision. Take

By Ferry:
Northumberland Ferries Ltd., a seasonal ferry
service, travels between Prince Edward Island
and Nova Scotia from early May to mid December.
Take Wood Islands Ferry across route #315 north
to Montague, take route #4 north to #313 north,
turn left on #321 to #2, make a left turn on #2
west past Morell to road
sign (St. Peters Harbour) turn right and continue
down St. Peter's Rd to the very end. This is paved
road for 4.2 km but turns into a dirt road just
before the cottage subdivision. Take the 3rd lane
on the left to number 15 Red Fox Lane.
