Derwent Head Home Energy Advice provides a service for Home Information Packs, Energy Performance Certificates and home energy saving surveys. Operating throughout Tyne & Wear and north County Durham, the aim is to provide a prompt, professional and personal service combined with a reasonable pricing structure. Energy Performance Certificates are carried out by an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor. Home Information packs are carried out in association with a national HIP provider company called Hip2Go. Hip2Go is a member of the Association of HIP Providers and is regulated by the Property Codes Compliance Board. Hip2Go use an on line system that allows the progress of the HIP to be tracked while it is being compiled. The price includes one printed copy as standard as well as the final pdf copies which are available via the internet. The pack is to an attractive design for potential buyers to look at. The normal time to complete the HIP is between ten and fifteen working days, but can be longer depending on the time taken to complete the searches. An interim HIP is though provided, normally within two to three days of the order being placed, that is sufficient to enable marketing to start. Home energy saving surveys are also available to homeowners who wish to see what possible improvement measures there may be to help them reduce their heating bills.
