Steven has been in the Real Estate business for 11 years (10-1/2 of those years have been with Re/Max). He has a Bachelor Degree in Architecture with a Minor in City Planning. Steven first moved to Springfield in 1973 and has been an active member of the Springfield community and it's charitable organizations.

Steven was elected Alderman for Ward 9 in Springfield in 2007 and serves on the Springfield City Council. He also spends time working with the Springfield Chapter of the American Business Club - AMBUCS - which has given over $2 million to local charities over the last 15 years. In addition, Steven serves on the Board of Directors at the University of Illinois Springfield Auditorium, State Fair Chairman for the ABC Club of Springfield, and several other positions within the community. He has been a member and served on the boards of International Rotary Chapter 83, Roman Cultural Society, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, Chaine des Rotisseurs & Societe Mondiale du Vin, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Sangamo Club, and the Capital Area Association of REALTORS just to name a few.

Steven is also highly respected by his peers and the Springfield Community - Steven has been selected "The Best REALTOR in Springfield" by Readers Choice from Springfield Magazine, awarded "40 under 40" and "15 under 15" by Springfield Business Journal, President's Outstanding Award, Award of Service and 2007 Comunity Service Award for 2007 by Capital Area Association of REALTORS. He is currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Illinois Certified Residential Specialist Council for the State which is the top designation given in the Real Estate Industry.
